Big Up for Legumes! Hello, Pepito Legumes!
Pepito is a One-of-a-kind Handmade Fabric Charm featuring a Smiling Legume.
A cute fiber art jewel for your everyday, or special occasion.

I’ve made a small bunch of these little Friends, called Pepito. I thought it would be nice to carry always with (on) you a cute magic charm featuring some favorite beans and pulses.

Each one is inspired, in a very naive style, by a different legume type, and the stitched glass beads make me think about tiny drops of water, oil, mustard, or even a pesto sauce!

1- Green Pea: 2 x 2cm (0.78′ x 0.78′)
2- Tiger’s Eye Bean: 2 x 1cm (0.78′ x 0.39′ )
3- Adzuki Bean: 1,3 x 2 cm (0.5′ x 0.78′)
4- Chickpea: 1,8 x 1.5 cm (0.7′ x 0.59′)
5- Cranberry Bean: 2,5 x 1,3cm (0.98′ x 0.5′)
6- Vaquero Bean: 2,5 x 1,5 cm (0.98′ x 0.59′)
I did different listings for Lentils and Beans 
Dimensions of each charm can vary: approx from 1,5 cm to 2cm high x 1 cm width (0.59′ -.78′ high x 0.39′ width)

♥ Process
I made this miniature cloth pendant by hand-stitching and stuffing it with polyfill.
Then, I embroidered a simple smiling face to this little stuffed piece and added some glass beads to give a shiny accent to the charm like tiny water and oil drops, and other herbs and spices.
I painted each one looking for textures, or legume-like patterned surfaces.
I finally stitched a golden metallic ring at the top of the charm to hang from your favorite chain.
Each Pepito Legume is different and unique in a very delicate naïve and primitive style. Full of irregularities. A naïve jewel in shape, and in concept too.

Hope this Pepito Legume will bring a smile to your face.

This little pendant comes attached to an illustrated card, designed and illustrated by me. Packaged in a sealed plastic sleeve and shipped with great care.
Ready to give away as a gift or keep for yourself.

It was carefully dreamed, designed, assembled, packaged… And I hopefully well-loved.
