One-of-a-kind Ceramic Fake Watch Bracelet in 11 different changeable watchbands.

I created these fake watches on a whim and suddenly they caught my heart. They are so simple, playful and elegant… A naïve bracelet that matches any outfit and occasion.
I love wearing them in summer, for holidays and parties. It will make the perfect gift for your loved ones, or for yourself.

You can change easily the band and wear two different fake watches.
Each watch charm is different. Made from white clay, I hand-molded them one by one adding two sturdy wire hooks to the wet clay charm to hold and easily change the watch strap. Watch-face was hand-painted with black engobe before being glazed and finally fired.
Changeable bracelet straps: Carefully handcrafted and stitched to brass or golden buckles to adjust any wrist. I’ve added different watchbands for you to choose. Check out last photos!

Short History of my Fake watches
Long, long ago… I used to draw a tiny watch on my wrist with a pen… It was in 2010 when I created my first Fake Watch Collection.
Since then, I’ve been selling these toy watches to lovely people that wanted to better enjoy their time, wishing their lives to be a never-ending happy hour.
In the beginning, fake watch charms were made from cold porcelain. I loved that waxy look, it was a lovely and kiddy silly toy style, but I got several problems with the glossy varnish and I stopped making them for a while.
I dreamed of making new collections of fake watches and I designed new bracelets as soon as I started working on ceramics. Glazed clay is more sturdy and durable, while precious and delicate.

Dimensions:
SMALL Charm: approx 2,7 cm long x 2,7 cm high (1.06′ long x 1.06′ width)
Checkered ribbon, Velvet and Metallic Glitter watchbands are 1 cm wide, hand-stitched to metal rings in antiqued brass type used as buckles.
Clack Cotton lace, B&W and Glitter watchbands are 1,5 cm wide, hand-stitched to antiqued brass buckles.
They all adjust easily any wrist up to 7.5 inches (19cm)
★ This fake watch charm is made from ceramic so please, handle with care.
★ Glazes used are nontoxic. Smoke-free and pet-free household.
♥ Process
I hand molded and sanded little pieces of clay to its watch shape one by one, added two sturdy wire hooks to the wet clay charm to hold and easily change the watch strap. Painted the watch-face when dry. Then they were fired.
I covered them with a layer of transparent glossy glaze that was fixed with a second fire.
Then I hand-stitched ribbons, laces, and trims to metal rings used as buckles.
The last step of the process was mounting watch-straps to ceramic charms and… Voilà!
It was carefully dreamed, designed, assembled, packaged… And I hopefully well-loved.

I really love the fake watch! I’ve gotten so many compliments and it has definitely tricked a few people. The charm is so nice and dainty on my wrist and it is actually quite comfortable compared to real watches!
