♥ Process
I hand molded and sanded little pieces of clay to its watch shape one by one, made a hole all through the the wet clay charm to hold and easily change the elastic watch band. Painted the watch-face when dry. Then they were fired.
I covered them with a layer of transparent glossy glaze that was fixed with a second fire.
Then I hand stitched the ceramic watchband onto the elastic watchband.
It was carefully dreamed, designed, assembled, packaged… And I hopefully well-loved.

Full of irregularities.
Each of my fake watches is different and unique in a very delicate naïve and primitive style.
A naïve jewel in shape, and in concept too.

Fake watches bracelets come onto a terracotta/dark orange cardboard, packaged in a sealed plastic sleeve, wrapped around by a beautifully printed paper strip designed by me and shipped with great care.

I created these fake watches on a whim and suddenly they caught my heart. They are so simple, playful and elegant… A naïve bracelet that matches any outfit and occasion.

Short History of my Fake watches
Long, long ago… I used to draw a tiny watch on my wrist with a pen… It was in 2010 when I created my first Fake Watch Collection.
Since then, I’ve been selling these toy watches to lovely people that wanted to better enjoy their time, wishing their lives to be a never-ending happy hour.
In the beginning, fake watch charms were made from cold porcelain. I loved that waxy look, it was a lovely and kiddy silly toy style, but I got several problems with the glossy varnish and I stopped making them for a while.
I dreamed of making new collections of fake watches and I designed new bracelets as soon as I started working on ceramics. Glazed clay is more sturdy and durable, while precious and delicate.
