Mini Fake Watch Bracelet with elastic band

I designed this new fake watch to remember that life can be really simple, just smile and enjoy the ride.

Changeable bracelet straps: The band of this bracelet is an elastic knotted trim that fits everybody wrists.
I’ve made a small bunch of these watches on white clay, that are all one of a kind, check the last photo and choose your favourite watch face color

♥ Process
I hand molded and sanded little pieces of clay one by one and made a hole for threading the elastic band through. Watch-face was hand-painted with red, blue or black engobe before being glazed and finally fired.

Full of irregularities.
Each of my fake watches is different and unique in a very delicate naïve and primitive style.
A naïve jewel in shape, and in concept too.
Part of a very limited series of One of a Kind hand-molded artistic ceramics.

♥ Packaging
Fake watches bracelets come onto a terracotta/dark orange cardboard, packaged in a sealed plastic sleeve, wrapped around by a beautifully printed paper strip designed by me and shipped with great care.
Ready to give away as a gift or keep for yourself.
It was carefully dreamed, designed, assembled, packaged… And I hopefully well-loved.

Short History of my Fake watches
Long, long ago… I used to draw a tiny watch on my wrist with a pen… It was in 2010 when I created my first Fake Watch Collection.
Since then, I’ve been selling these toy watches to lovely people that wanted to better enjoy their time, wishing their lives to be a never-ending happy hour.
In the beginning, fake watch charms were made from cold porcelain. I loved that waxy look, it was a lovely and kiddy silly toy style, but I got several problems with the glossy varnish and I stopped making them for a while.
I dreamed of making new collections of fake watches and I designed new bracelets as soon as I started working on ceramics. Glazed clay is more sturdy and durable, while precious and delicate.
